We got snow but the 50 MPH wind blew it right on off the roads.

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; So they decided to hound me till I let them. The deal was if they wanted to go outside, they had to give me a $50 deposits. If they came back in from being cold within 30 minutes, I get to keep their money. My theory was they wouldn't want to lose the last of their birthday money. Did it work you ask? Not at all. They each brought me their money and headed out the door. To their credit I called them in after 20 minutes and they didn't want to come in. I refunded their money.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; I constantly ask myself the same thing. Over and over and over and over. WE lived in a beautiful subdivision in the city. We had a huge 3600 square foot house. A beautiful yard with the best views in the whole county. My husband's family had an old farm house outside of a rural town about 25 miles from the big city. The details are sketchy but my husband came home one day and stated we have the "oppotunity" to move to the country. Now a little back ground on me. I grew up in the country miles from neighbors. I hated it because there was no one to play with.

So mom said "Let's take a vote." thinking the kids would never want to move. Jessi was in the fourth grade and had her friends. I never dreamed she'd want to move. The vote was 5 to 1. Now what was I to do. It was my idea to vote. So in May of 2006 we moved to the farm.

It took me 8 months to sell my house. Not that it was on the market that long. Actually the realtor contacted us and I kept holding back hoping that we'd move back. Alas that didn't happen either. Here we still are. 4 1/2 years later.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://itsawonderfulcountrylife.blogspot.com/2009/12/its-wonderful-country-life.html' title='It's a Wonderful "Country"
